Mission Status

  • AMRUT project started in the year 2015 for the overall infrastructural development of the cities of India. The Mission Period is 2015-2020.
  • Govt. of India selected the following Cities of Assam for the implementation of the Mission-
    1. Dibrugarh 2. Guwahati 3. Nagaon 4. Silchar
  • Service Level Improvement Plan (SLIP):  657.14 Crore
  • State Annual Action Plan(SAAP)-
    1. SAAP-I (2015-16)
    Total Size: Rs.188.16 Crore
    Major projects in SAAP 2015-16:
    4 parks in 4 mission cities (4.7 Crore)
    Water supply project in Dibrugarh (183.46 Crore).
    2. SAAP-II (2016-17)
    Total Size Rs. 218.67 Crores
    Major Projects in the SAAP 2016-17
    4 parks in 4 mission cities (5.47 Crores)
    Water supply project at Nagaon (213.20 Crore)
    3. SAAP - III (2017-20)
    Total SAAP size 250.31 Crore

    Water supply project in Silchar (161.35Crores)
    Non-Motorized Transport in Guwahati (82.74 crore)
  • Progress towards implementation
    Marking the 2nd anniversary of AMRUT Mission, foundation stone of parks in SAAP-I were laid in cross the 3 AMRUT Cities of Assam namely; Nagaon, Silchar and Dibrugarh
