Achievements

(A) Individual Household Latrine (IHHL): Under Individual Household Latrine (IHHL), 21000 Units of IHHL are under construction in the FY 2015-16 & 2016-17. Mission has released Rs. 7.35 Cr for the construction of IHHL so far. Total 47338 Units of IHHL has been sanctioned for FY 2017-18.

(B) Community Toilet: Under this component, 200 Seats of CT are under construction in the FY 2016-17. Mission has released Rs 0.59 Cr for the Construction of CT.

(C) IEC & Public Awareness: Under this component, Mission has released total of Rs 4.60 Cr amongst all ULBs (MB/TC) in Assam for creating awareness & behavioural changes to meet the objectives of Swachh Bharat Mission (Urban).

(D) Capacity Building: Under this component, Workshops on Source Segregation and Solid & Liquid Waste Management has been held both at State level & ULB level. Experts from different states had organized many workshops to create awareness among mass population.

(E) Solid Waste Management: In the greater interest of the Urban Local Bodies, an Auto Tipper has been deployed at 78 nos. of ULBs with One Driver & One Labour for collection of Municipal Solid Waste across the ULB. These Auto Tippers will collect Municipal Solid Waste from the ULB throughout the day along with mass awareness on the concepts of SBM. Mission has allotted Rs 3.60 Cr for this purpose.
